With numerous awards from Hi Fi News, Hi Fi + and What Hi Fi, you know that the Atlas name on the cables and plugs provide you with a promise of technical excellence. Every interconnect or cable is subjected to exhaustive testing in order to guarantee it's quality and reliability. Only then does it have the right to carry the Atlas Cables name
Atlas Cables aim is to improve the signal path in order to you with more information and greater fidelity through the use of high quality conductor materials and dielectrics.
Here are some of their products, many more can be found on their web site and don’t forget to visit them at the show to see their new Mavros and Asimi products including the fabulous Asimi speaker cable.
All Atlas interconnects are researched, developed, designed and manufactured by Atlas (Scotland) Ltd, to provide the very best results possible at their respective price points. Our aim is to get information from one end of the cable to the other with as few deletions as possible. High quality oxygen free copper (OFC) of 5 or 6 nines purity (99.9997% or 99.9999%) is a feature of Atlas entry level interconnects; Ohno continuous cast copper is used in our superior quality interconnects. OCC is a product that was pioneered by Atlas and is the best material available for the transmission of sound because it contains almost no crystal boundaries that delete quality.

All cables delete information, the Atlas cables delete least. Factors such as copper quality, that of the dielectrics and the plugs all have an important role to play.

Many suggest there are no audible differences between different digital interconnects, but that's not true.
The Atlas interconnects are produced from a 75 Ohm cable. In production in order to arrive to 75 Ohms, we take the size of the centre or 'going' conductor relative to it's distance from the shield or return conductor. That distance which is formed from a foamed polyethylene determins the impedance. It follows if that distance is altered, then the impedance is also altered. It's for that reason that such interconnects should not be bent at an acute angle or crushed.

Discerning Atlas appointed distributors and installers for distributed sound and custom home theatre systems will not compromise the quality of their install by fitting inferior, ordinary 'contractor type' speaker or data cable. Atlas has specified and designed a range of custom cables employing flame retarding LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheaths that comply with current and future European standards for custom installation cables.
